INTRODUCTION
In order to enhance postgraduate students’ performance, UTM has selected and offered several value added courses which would match its strengths and future opportunities.
This is also in line with the nation's aspiration to achieve the status of a developed nation by year 2020. The UTM Postgraduate ++ Programme is a UTM initiative to expand
knowledge and skills that are of value especially for UTM Postgraduate students.

All postgraduate students are involved and needed to do research to completed their
studies. The Postgraduate++ Programme will help you in making the best decision
when choosing the programme to pursue. It can help students to strengthen the findings
and produce the best outcome using a valuable tool like model, software and programming
in guiding you through your studies on campus. The varied and rewarding experiences
you will experience here will prepare you to operate at a global level. The postgraduate
++ programme will not only provide you with science and technology courses to suit
your individual needs and ambitions, but will also nurture your sense of purpose
and vision through courses like Quality Management, Communication and Leadership
Skills. With such a rich exposure and hopefully a rewarding experience as well,
we trust each and every one of you will be better equipped to pursue your career

WHAT THE PROGRAMME OFFERS
1. Technical skills (software, modeling, programming) ; LUSAS, PRIMAVERA, HYSIS,
MATHLAB, VISUAL BASIC. ETC.
2. Soft skills (communication, leadership, etc)
3. Business and management courses.
4. Teaching and learning related courses
HOW THE PROGRAMME MANAGED AND ORGANISED
The programme will be organized through short courses, 1 to 3 days in duration and
involved a few Faculties and UTM Centers of Excellence. Candidates have to get through
a simple evaluation on the courses attended before getting the UTM Postgraduate
++ Certificate. This is to make sure the programme is useful and of value to the
participants. Every graduate student participating in the short courses will get
the UTM Postgraduate ++ Certificate, Modules and enjoy some refreshment.

Faculties and Centers of Excellence of UTM are committed to helping graduate students
be more dedicated, creative and innovative and very successful
in their chosen fields. We provide training programmes to graduate students to enhance career excellence and to facilitate the development of generic skills to assist in producing competent, creative and versatile professionals.
